We are hiring a Senior 3D Character Artist for our client, a top-tier game studio in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will craft stunning, stylized 3D characters that bring the game world to life. Responsibility

• Conceptualize, model, texture, and rig captivating 3D characters that fit seamlessly into the game environment.
• Utilize low-poly modeling techniques to ensure assets are optimized for real-time game engines while maintaining visual fidelity.
• Continuously refine and improve the character creation pipeline, implementing best practices for efficiency and artistic quality.
• Work closely with art directors, game designers, animators, and 3D artists to align character designs with the game’s artistic vision and narrative.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Animation, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry.
• Strong expertise in low-poly modeling, optimization for real-time rendering, and industry-standard software, including Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Deep understanding of 3D modeling and texturing for stylized characters, with experience optimizing for performance without sacrificing artistic quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D character designs, modeling, and texturing expertise.
