Senior 3D Artist

Job description

Are you passionate about crafting immersive game worlds through high-quality 3D modeling? We’re looking for a Senior 3D Modeler to bring characters, props, environments, and vehicles to life. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the art and design teams to ensure every model aligns with the game's artistic vision and technical standards. While texturing and animation experience is a plus, your primary focus will be creating stunning, optimized 3D assets

Responsibility

• Design and develop high-quality 3D models for characters, props, vehicles, and environments based on concept art and design briefs
• Optimize models for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine 5, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality
• Work alongside art directors, concept artists, and level designers to maintain consistency in artistic style and quality
• Create clean, animation-ready topology suitable for in-game use
• Implement Level of Detail (LOD) optimizations to enhance performance across various platforms
• Collaborate with riggers and animators to ensure models are structured properly for seamless animation integration
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in 3D modeling
• Mentor and guide junior modelers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in 3D modeling for video games, preferably in a production environment
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max, with a strong understanding of high-quality modeling workflows
• Expertise in topology, edge flow, and polycount optimization for game-ready assets
• Experience creating both high-poly and low-poly models, with the ability to translate concept art into detailed 3D assets
• Strong grasp of proportions, anatomy (for characters), and hard-surface modeling (for weapons, vehicles, and environments)
• Hands-on experience working within Unreal Engine 5 and understanding its asset pipeline
• Knowledge of UV unwrapping and baking high-poly details onto low-poly models (Normal maps, AO, etc
