Job description

We're on the lookout for a Senior Game Designer to bring innovative and whimsical experiences to life in a Casual Game. Lead the design process, turning concepts into captivating games that resonate with a broad audience.

Responsibility

• Lead and mentor a team of game designers to create high-quality and engaging game mechanics, systems, and features
• Create and maintain design documentation, including game design documents, feature lists, and implementation plans
• Collaborate with the Level Design and Art teams to understand the game's objectives and ensure they are effectively communicated through the game mechanics and system.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on gameplay concepts to test their viability and refine the player experience.
• Communicate design concepts effectively to team members from various disciplines, ensuring a clear understanding of gameplay goals and mechanics
• Good knowledge of player progress growth
• Collaborate with data analysts to analyze player behavior and make data-driven adjustments to game balance.

Requirement

• 6+ years of professional experience as a game designer
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, systems, and features design best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in game design, computer science, or a related field
• Proficiency in game engines and related game design software
• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry
• Leadership and mentoring experience, with a passion for fostering the growth of junior team members
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
